La alquimia del siglo XXI: Javier García at TEDxPuraVida 2014

La investigación en nanotecnología ha marcado la carrera del químico español Javier García Martínez, quien dirige el Laboratorio de Nanotecnología Molecular en la Universidad de Alicante. Ahí trabaja en la fabricación de nanomateriales aplicados al sector energético. En 2008, García Martínez fundó la empresa Rive Technology, en Estados Unidos, para hacer llegar a la industria su tecnología de catálisis.

Director of the Molecular Nanotechnology Lab at the University of Alicante, Spain. Javier has published extensively in the areas of nanomaterials and energy and is the author of more than forty patents.

Elena is a Research Fellow at the Molecular Nanotechnology Lab of the Inorganic Chemistry Dpt. at the University of Alicante (Spain). Her current research interests are in the area of new synthetic pathways to prepare stable and efficient photoactive materials for clean energy production.

Aida Grau has a Bachelor degree in Chemistry (2010) and a Master degree in Materials Science (2011) from the University of Alicante (Spain), where she is doing her PhD thesis on the incorporation of chemical functionalities to mesoporous silica materials and zeolites for energy-related applications.
